Last updated: September 2026. This explains what information Khan's Autos & Services (K.A.S) collects through this website and how it's used.
When you create an account, request to purchase a car, book a service, or send us a message, we collect the information you provide directly — this typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and any details you give us about a vehicle or service request (year, make, model, description of the issue, preferred appointment time, and optional photos).
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google as part of standard sign-in — we don't request anything beyond that.
We use your information to respond to purchase requests and service bookings, to communicate with you about a request you've made (including through the messaging feature on your My Requests page), and to keep a record of past inventory and service history. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Account and request information is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore Database), a third-party service we use to run this website. Service booking submissions are also emailed to us via FormSubmit, a third-party form-delivery service, so we can respond even outside of the website. Both providers may process data on servers outside of Michigan as part of normal cloud infrastructure.
Only K.A.S staff can see the full list of purchase requests and service bookings, along with the contact details needed to respond to them. You can see your own requests and message history on your My Requests page. We don't share your information with other customers or outside companies.
You can ask us to correct or delete your account information at any time by contacting us through the Contact Us page. If you'd like your account and associated requests removed, let us know and we'll take care of it.
This site uses your browser's local sign-in session (managed by Firebase Authentication) to keep you logged in between visits. We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
